The Red River Triumph Club’s November “lunch” drive is the Annual Turkey Trot Rally. The rally will be on Saturday the 23rd of November starting with the first car out about 10:30am. There will be a driver’s meeting at 10:15am.
Like all Gimmick Rallies, this will be like a scavenger hunt in your car. You’ll be given driving directions and between each turn will be questions to answer. The answers will be seen from the road on either side of the car but visible without having to turn around. The team with the most correct answers will win. We will have prizes for the top three finishers.
The rally route will wander through the back roads south of Dallas-Fort Worth before finishing at our ranch in Grandview, TX. At the finish, we plan a “cook-out” lunch. The Pilcher’s will be frying a couple of turkeys (if you want one fried, let me know and bring it to the start), the club will provide soft drinks, for all other drinks, bring what you’d like. Entrants are encouraged to bring a covered dish, salad fixings, bread or dessert. There will be a vehicle to carry the food from the start point out to the finish while you are driving the rally.
Location – Mansfield High School, 3001 E. Broad Street, Mansfield, TX 76063.
